By using Pen Buddy you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Using Pen Buddy
- Pen Buddy is a study aid. Its answers come from AI models and can be wrong; check anything important.
- Use Pen Buddy for your own learning and follow your school's rules on academic honesty.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or get around its limits, and no unlawful content.
Your content
Your notes are yours. You give Pen Buddy permission to process them only as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Accounts, plans and credits
Each answered question uses one credit. Free questions, plans and credit packs are described in the app. Purchases on the Mac are made through Stripe; subscriptions renew until you cancel them in the app (Settings › Account › Manage). Credits have no cash value.
Availability
Pen Buddy is provided "as is". It may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, Pen Buddy isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use.
Ending
You can stop using Pen Buddy and delete your account at any time (Settings › Account › Delete Account). Accounts that misuse the service may be suspended.
